How we compare

What we include

• Published facts only. Starting prices, formats, proteins, label nutrition (calories, guaranteed analysis, first ingredients, AAFCO statement), shipping, guarantees, battery life, water ratings and camera specs, as stated by the brand.
• Every fact has a source. Each card links to the official page we used and the date we checked it (currently Oct 15, 2026).
• Gaps stay gaps. If we can’t confirm a detail on an official page, we show “See site” rather than guess. Fresh food prices depend on your dog, so we show only the starting prices brands publish.

What we don’t do

• We don’t make health or nutrition claims, and we don’t repeat brands’ health marketing.
• We don’t publish star ratings, “best overall” awards or invented reviews. We haven’t hands-on tested these products, so we don’t say we have.
• Commissions don’t change what we list or the order we list it in.

Keeping it current

Prices, sales and plans change often. We recheck listings regularly and update the “checked” date. If you spot something out of date, tell us and we’ll correct it.
